Account-Wide Call Recording Settings
- Log in to the Admin Portal.
Navigate to:
- Phone System
- Auto-Receptionist
- General Settings
- Call Recording
Available Settings:
User Call Recording Settings
- Log in to the Admin Portal.
Navigate to:
- Select the desired user.
Open:
- User Details
- Settings & Permissions
- Edit Automatic Call Recording.
Available Settings:
- Inbound Call Recording — On or Off
- Outbound Call Recording — On or Off
- Smart ACR — On or Off
What is Smart ACR?
Smart ACR intelligently adapts the call recording announcement based on the area code of the call participants, helping organizations comply with state-specific call recording consent laws.
Managing Call Recordings in the RingCentral App
Desktop and Web App
- Open the RingCentral App.
- Click Phone in the navigation menu.
- Select the Recordings tab.
- Search for or select a recording.
- Recording details will appear in the main panel.
Users can:
- Listen to recordings
- Search recordings
- Download recordings (if permitted)

Accessing Recordings
- Log in to the Admin Portal.
Navigate to:
- Analytics & Logs
- Call Logs
- Search for the desired call.
- Select and download recordings as needed.
