You can stop spam and other unwanted calls by blocking specific numbers. When you block a number, you won't receive calls, faxes, or text messages from that number.
- You can block 10-digit phone numbers and short codes.
- Numbers blocked from your extension only apply to your extension.
- If a Super Admin blocks a number on the main account's system extension, the block applies to all extensions on the account.
- You can still call and send faxes to a blocked number, but you cannot send text messages.
- The owner of a blocked number will not be notified that they have been blocked.
- You cannot block a coworker's extension or direct number within the same RingCentral account.
