Yealink's Redirection and Provisioning Service (RPS) is a free service that simplifies the configuration and deployment of Yealink IP phones. It allows service providers to automatically configure phones during the initial boot-up process by directing them to their designated provisioning server. This eliminates the need for manual configuration and reduces errors, making mass deployments more efficient. 
Here's how RPS works: 
  1. 1. Phone Inquiry:
    When a Yealink phone starts up, it checks with the Yealink RPS servers to see if its MAC address has been registered.
  2. 2. URL Redirection:
    If the MAC address is found, the RPS server sends the phone the URL of its designated provisioning server.
  3. 3. Configuration Download:
    The phone then connects to the provisioning server and downloads its configuration files.
  4. 4. Automatic Configuration:
    The phone is now configured with the necessary settings for the provider's system.
